Children At Heart Adoption Services, Inc. is a not-for-profit, §501(c)(3), charitable corporation which was founded on July 14, 1995. It was created from the hearts of Janice and Mark Bergeron. In February of 1994, Mark and Janice adopted Lara Elizabeth,

age 8 months, from Ukraine. They brought her home to join her brothers, Mark and Kevin, and her sister, Erica. Having

witnessed the plight of the children they had to leave behind in

the orphanage, Janice and Mark felt their work had just begun. Knowing that they could not adopt all of the world's orphaned children pointed them toward creating their own adoption agency. Their goal is to find loving families for these orphaned children.
